Dr. Alex Yan

Dr. Alex Yan has more than 16 years of experience in overseas financing, mergers and acquisitions and investment banking management, and a Ph.D. in finance, joined GF Holdings (Hong Kong) in 2020 to be responsible for investment banking, and before that, he worked at Morgan Stanley for more than 12 years in charge of investment banking in China.

Alex has personally participated in capital projects totaling more than US 50 billion, including Sinopharm Hong Kong H-share IPO and 3 refinancings, MCC A+H IPO, Far East Horizon Hong Kong IPO, Agricultural Bank of China A+H IPO, China Cinda Hong Kong H share IPO, ZTO Express US IPO, Daily Fresh US IPO, Taikang acquisition of Sotheby's, GE sold Yingda Leasing, etc.

Dr. Yan holds a Ph.D. in Finance and has studied at the University of Victoria, the University of British Columbia, the Central University of Finance and Economics and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and has participated in many research projects organized by the State Council, the People's Bank of China and the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
